Tree means life

Today, trees are being abused by man through indiscriminate logging, improper pruning, arson and maltreatment, which threatens their conservation.
In San Luis, the protection of urban trees is framed into Act No. IX-0318/2004 -which ratifies previous legislation that came into effect in 1979 - and Art. 2340 of the Argentine Civil Code. Removing, cutting down and pruning tree species is, thus, subject to the provisions of that Act.
Those who have the responsibility to prune trees (municipalities and cities) may prune only when necessary, when they consider conditions mentioned in Art. 9 of ActNo. IX-0318/2004 exist.
Bewildered, we can see how various municipalities of San Luis have destroyed the natural structure of urban trees, they have altered their morphology and their foliage - one of the most important elements in a tree -, which give them the beauty and purpose of their existence in urban areas.
Get advice before pruning and monitor municipal authorities on the matter. In this way, you will be taking care of the air you breathe.
